Can I bring a colleague?

All participants must apply and participate in The Passport Collective interview process to join a peer advising circle. If space is available, and your colleague is a good fit for your cohort, we would be happy to welcome them to the group.

Otherwise, we'll explore assigning them to another peer advising circle.

Do I have to attend the retreat?

Yes. The retreat is an opportunity to establish relationshipsand build trust with your colleagues, and launch the work of the group - all ina beautiful, relaxing and elegant setting.

Will I have my own room at the retreat?

Yes. All Passport Collective Retreat participants will have their own room.

What about dietary restrictions?

Once you have been accepted in the peer advising circle, you will have the opportunity to submit any dietary restrictions, and other requests and requirements to ensure that you have a wonderful retreat.

What should I pack for my Passport Collective Retreat?

All participants will receive a packing list, based on the location, season and available amenities at your retreat site. Dress casually and show up as your Saturday-afternoon self.

Can I refer colleagues to The Passport Collective?

We welcome referrals! The Passport Collective continues to grow by word-of-mouth. In fact, should your colleague join The Passport Collective, we would be happy to thank you with a referral fee. Please contact us for more information.

What topics will we discuss in our group?

The mission of your cohort is to use the collective brainpower of the group to support each member navigate their leadership and business issues.

From practical problems to self-development challenges, members have brought up topics that include:
•Business and product development
•Issues with staff, stakeholders, clients and your Board
•Pricing, funding and fee-for-service products and programs
•Strategy, vision and change
•Identifying business partnerships and strategic alliances
•Dealing with burnout, overwhelm and that “internal voice”
•Identifying how to reignite passion and purpose within your work (and your life!)

This cohort serves as each members’ personal Board of Directors,and agrees to share its best thinking to catapult members to greater success and bigger impact.

Should I join The Valencia Circle?

The Passport Collective’s Valencia Cohort is a perfect for you, if:
•You are a C-suite, female leader from the nonprofit or private sector, or a business owner with more than five employees.
•You want to grow your business, are ready to create serious action plans, and implement those plans to see measurable results.
•You’re ready to work in a group environment where the synergy of several minds helps generate creative solutions, share knowledge and experience, and support each other to achieve each member’s goals.

The Passport Collective’s Valencia Cohort may not be a right fit for you, if:
•You always prefer to work alone.
•You’re not willing to both ASK for help or OFFER help.
•You can’t commit to attending the retreat and monthly meetings – this is where the action happens and where you’ll get value from being part of a peer advising group.

Can I arrive at my Passport Collective Retreat early? Or stay later?

Each Passport Collective Retreat starts at 9am, lasts three days, and ends at noon. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate participants the night before or after the retreat.
