Margot believes that great leaders inspire and empower others. She believes that having a clear plan creates a shared vision and roadmap to success for all. She also believes in the unique power of women to create meaningful, sustainable change in the world.

With more than 25 years’ experience working in strategic leadership roles for local, national and international organizations, Margot has served as an Executive Director, Board member, community organizer, mentor, educator and elected official, all of which have shaped her ability to understand the nuances and subtleties of her clients’ needs, and what is required to deliver results in a real-world
context.

Outside of work, Margot is an off-the-beaten path adventurer, with more than 30 years of solo travel across five continents. She is a gifted connector, bringing together friends and colleagues from around the world for good food and great conversation.

Shannon’s career has spanned the globe, with strategic leadership roles in both the non-profit and private sectors. She brings extraordinary expertise in, and passion for, leadership, organizational culture, executive coaching, and communications from a cross-cultural perspective with a focus on cultivating optimism and empowering others.

Shannon grew up in Ontario, Canada in Lake Country. From an early age, she brought an ambitious spirit to her interests, and competitive athletics shaped her early life as a national level swimmer, waterski instructor and trained firefighter.

She has led large projects worldwide across multiple industries. Organizations include the International Association of Lung Cancer, the Asia Pacific Association for International Education, International Baccalaureate, the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers and the Canadian Radiation Protection Association to name a few.
